This was an awesome session! 12 months is usually a hard age to photograph. They want nothing to do with the stranger with the big camera making funny noises! But not Alyce! She is a photographers dream. So cute, so smart, and loves the camera. She even said "camera!" when I pulled it out of my bag. I think if I wasn't moving out of state I would make her my spokes model!

Bad Blogger!

I am the worst blogger ever! I can't believe I haven't updated in so long. I'm sorry to all my blog watchers. Life has been very crazy (and exciting) this past month. We found out we will be moving to Florida in a few months for my husbands job. He actually started a few weeks ago so during the week I am on my own. That means on my own with 2 kids, keeping the house together for showings, finding a house, and photo sessions. The second week was hard but I'm starting to get the hang of it now.
So what will happen with LifeStyle Photography? I am still taking select sessions. So don't hesitate to contact me. If its something that won't fit into my crazy schedule, I will happily refer you to another area photographer. I will still be headed back this way a few times a year to visit family and do a few photography sessions. I will update my blog to let you know the dates. I already have a few newborn sessions lined up in October.
Speaking of newborns... They are everywhere! I've been hearing of so many babies being born in the last few weeks. I even had the pleasure of photographing a few! Love newborns! I mean really whats not to love when you get to hold them and smell them... and then go home and get a great nights sleep!

Since I'm so behind on updating I will post a little sampling of my last few sessions. If I haven't got a chance to post your session to the blog I apologize and promise I will get to them. So check back.

It's that time of year...

Time for my kids to pick up every yukky germ out there! My poor babies were home sick this week... but in their weakened state they were unable to run from my camera!!!

Happy New Year!!!
Sorry I've been MIA for a few weeks. The Holidays had me crazy and I've been working a few new things for LifeStyle Photography.
I am now done my portfolio building stage. So please make note of our full pricing. If you had pictured done during the PB stage I am still honoring PB pricing on prints for the next 3 months. If you have prints you still want to order from your past sessions you have until April 1 to get them at the discounted PB price.

All mine...

Yes, I'm just getting around to posting pictures from the fall. I didn't even get to take their Christmas pictures yet. I know Dec. is this week but after the attitude I got from this past session with them I'm really not looking forward to trying. Every family I do apologizes for their kids not cooperating during the session... But compared to my own kids they are a dream. I took my kids to a park in Haddonfield, figuring a walk through the woods would distract them from realizing I was trying to make a photoshoot out of it. NOPE. We left 20 mins later with only a handful of pictures and my kids all sugared up from the bag of candy I was bribing them with!

Zach & Lainy's Mini Session

Having a photographer in the family has its perks. But kind of stinks when the photographer actually get busy. This is my nephew and niece. We have been trying to fit in Christmas pictures for over a month now. We were finally able to get them in the other day... between hockey games.

Trying to catch up!

This session fell on one of the coldest and windiest days! I was bundled up and I was freezing... this poor family did their best impression of pretending it was a lot warmer than it was. I think they did a great job! The session didn't last too long because it was just too cold to be out without coats on. But we managed to get great shots anyway. These were shot in Knights Park in Collingswood.

Baby Gabi

First I want to thank Alex and Emily for letting me shoot their new addition. With 3kids 3yrs and under, the youngest being under 2 weeks, I know the last thing you are ready for is having a photographer come into your home. But they welcomed me with open arms. And I'm so glad they did, because Gabi couldn't have been a more perfect subject. She was so sweet and relaxed. Even with me moving her all over and two crazy toddlers jumping around her, she never even so much as fussed!

Cole & Chloe

These 2 are like night and day... but both so sweet (and funny!) Cole is so smart and so mature for his age, a very old soul. He cracks me up with all the crazy info he has in his brain. But he is the most chill laid back 6yr old boy I know. Chloe on the other hand, she is such a free spirit but also very strong willed. She is very much a girly girl who loves everything princess and sweets!
This session breezed right by... by far the easiest subjects so far!

So much love...

Can you imagine being a boy in a house full of girls!?! And being their dad?? It takes a really special guy to share a house with 4 girls that he is totally responsible for. My house is completely balanced (gender wise) and I still need a glass a wine at the end of the day. What does Pete think of living with so much estrogen? He says that at any giving moment one of them is crying. Which I know to be true. But I also know that these 4 girls think he is the greatest and funniest thing that ever walked. And that has got to feel pretty cool to live with four of your biggest fans! During the session I was having a hard time getting all 3 little girls to find the same thing funny and smile at the same time. Dad to the rescue. God only knows what he was doing behind my head... but all 4 of them thought it was hysterical (and yes, kate was laughing just as hard as the kids).

Fall in the park

Sorry it took me a bit to get this sneak peek to you. This was a crazy week... I had so much catching up to do with editing and got a cold on top of it.
This is a session from last weekend in Horsham Pa. They had extended family portraits done but I'm still only half way through editing this session. I just had to stop and share a few pictures of this little guy and his super cute hat. And once again, amazing eyes!
